I'm sitting in the dining hall eating breakfast with the local newspaper by my side. Right there on the front page it says that former president Bill Clinton is in Athens today to give a speech about Hillary and her campaign. Apparently I didn't even hear that he was going to be in Athens until the day he gives his speech. But I don't care much about politics, so I decide that's cool and all, but it's not like I'm going to go see him.
So I keep reading and there's something about "The Great Porn Debate" inside. You see, there's been a lot of uproar about opening a "Gentlemen's Only" club here in Athens, so there's been ongoing debates from the supporters and opponents. Apparently just last week during the last debate they had porn legend Ron Jeremy talk.
So in just two weeks there's been both Bill Clinton and Ron Jeremy on my campus and I had no idea. This just makes me wonder what other famous people have been here without me knowing. I mean, really... I know there've been others but I can't remember because I don't pay attention.

Edit: Apparently tomorrow (Feb. 27) Barack Obama's wife Michelle is coming to give a speech about her husband's campaign. What the christ?
